Ian Svenonius book release: Supernatural Strategie May 11, 2013
7:30PM - 9:00PM
Price:  free
Washington, D.C.–baseD roCk ’n’ roll antihero ian F. svenonius presents his new book, Supernatural Strategies for Making a Rock ’n’ Roll Group a how-to guide.

IAN F. SveNONIuS’S exPerIeNCe AS AN ICONIC underground rock musician—playing in such highly influential and revolutionary outfits as The Make-Up and The Nation of Ulysses—gives him special insight on techniques for not only starting but also surviving a rock ’n’ roll group. Therefore, he’s written an instructional guide, which doubles as a warning device, a philosophical text, an exercise in terror, an aerobics manual, and a coloring book.

Svenonius will address the book’s many issues —perhaps even attempting to communicate with dead rock stars—in an effort to help you get the advice you deserve to form a chartbusting rock ’n’ roll band.

SUPERNATURAL STRATEGIES is the highly anticipated follow-up to the underground smash The Psychic Soviet, and is equally controversial. A combination of occult esoterica, how-to manual, socioeconomic textbook, fanzine, and revolutionary pamphlet, this book is bound to overtake Plato, McLuhan, Marx, and Hesse in dogs eared.
