Live coding is the order of the day. Situational flexibility and imaginative listening are prized. We value geeky computer music but especially integration with the noncomputing arts.

So carry on your tuba, trombone, clarinet, guitar, keys, mbira, computer, no-input mixing board or whatever, and we'll fork you some ideas.

About Lauren Fancher

Lauren has an educational background in studio art (BFA, UGA) and instructional technology (MEd, UGA), and as a result, has a focus on interactive design and digital media, including video, sound, music, and performance. She is active in the instructional technology, library, and digital arts communities as a writer, presenter, and artist, as well as serving as the coordinator of the 6X6 Media Arts Events series, in which the solicited work of artists from all over the world has been shown, including video, live streaming performance, in-person performance, and multi-person collaborations.

About the organizer:

Al Matthews has done audioresponsive video and videoresponsive audio, in professional settings. As of 2015 he will be a toolmaker in residence at Signal Culture, Owego, NY.
