The Dust Bunnies are an alternate universe band. It harkens back to the late 19th century, back before there was recorded music, and the only way to hear a song was to hear someone play it. Universal/BMG never existed to tell people they couldn't play someone's song without giving money to a corporation that owned the copyright. Imagine recorded music never existed past piano rolls, but that nevertheless the same wonderful songwriters of the 50s and 60s wrote the same songs. Only instead of using electric guitars they used electric orchestras.
Bermuda Triangles
BTs started as a solo synth/ drum machine project but after a split 7 inch w/ TICKLEY FEATHER (she's now on ANIMAL COLLECTIVE's Paw Tracks label) on C.N.P. it seemed time to put together a real band: they now have a drummer on full drum-kit, 2 guys on synths/ drum-pieces/ drum machines/ vocals, and a saxophone player...this set-up allows the performances to be fun and engaging.
