The unofficial opening of the impromptu Stencil Show in eyedrum's small gallery. The exhibit will be an ongoing celebration of stencil graffiti. Local artists are encouraged to add to this ever-growing exhibition by working during gallery hours (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 12pm - 5pm) or by appointment. Please contact fezmaster@mindspring.com to set up an appointment.
For excellent information, galleries and tutorials about stencil graffiti, check out Stencil Revolution.
Please do your stencilling on the walls of the small gallery only. This is the gallery to your left as you walk through eyedrum's main double doors. Thank you.
Ground rules_____
1. Respect other's work.
2. No tags (as in signatures or name promotion), just ideas/images...
3. Please confine to the small gallery to start with, if this fills up
more space is available
4. Remember we gotta paint over it eventually so don't use paint made
for coating car engines or anything please. In fact, we're asking for donations from artists to buy KILZ to repaint the gallery walls after the exhibit closes. Please see the gallery sitter to make a donation. Thanks!
Runs through Saturday September 17th.
