John Beadles
Sculptures

Bio
John Beadles is a prolific artist. His unique artistic language is influenced by modern artists such as Dekooning, Warhol, Park, and Morandi. He continues to study an ever-broadening scope of media which including ceramics, painting, and printmaking. He has traveled extensively and lived for many years in Japan, where he continues to visit often. New York Times contributing critic William Zimmer said “Beadles’ paintings seem especially powerful—because they are purposeful.” Beadles’ work has been exhibited in The Walter Wickiser Gallery (NYC), HEIM America (Miami), Lisa Kurts (Memphis) and in Atlanta at Spruill Gallery, Barbara Archer Gallery and Swan Coach House Gallery. His work is represented by Hope Cohn Gallery in Atlanta.

Artist Statement
I continue to admire world of art. I believe the best art is honest and direct. Also, I try to employ whimsy, while respecting the integrity of materials. And with a myriad of influences (including Warhol, DeKooning, Park, Morandi, etc.) I embrace exploration. Art is a rain-soaked flyer bleeding its discount prices (24 Hour Sale!) on the artist. He found it beside the trashbin.
