The newest effort from Jack Callahan of Sunburned Hand of the Man, the Idiots, and the Banh Mi Verlag label. A tape from die Reihe is forthcoming on the Acetic House label. Die Reihe merges Jack's interests in rhythm, developed as a drummer for Sunburned, with the modular synthesizer work of his solo electronic releases.
Network Glass mixes samples and modular synth tones to create repetitive, patterned music. The Baltimore-based project utilizes small and quick sounds to build focused, minimal structures. He eschews the long forms often associated with experimental music for short, distilled cycles.
Jason R. Butcher is an artist based in Atlanta, Georgia, interested in exploring drawing, animation, and sound. He has worked designing museum interactive and electronics, using those skills in a few large collaborative installations for the Le Flash events of 2008 and 2009, as well as more recent exhibits with electronic displays of the sound and/or video variety, and improvisational performances with electronic instruments. He has also branched out into electronic circuit design and fabrication for custom synthesizer devices, sound design and engineering for Anya Liftig's recent Flux Projects performance. He is a frequent collaborator with electronic musician Don Hassler.
