Open Study is a collaboration between choreographer/dancer Diana Crum and composer/guitarist Chris Forsyth. Audience members and performers share the same space. The dancer dances, the musician plays and the viewers see. The individual roles are both acknowledged and used in the creation of meaning and questioning of assumptions. The work explores performance as a series of relationships.
Diana Crum, founder of Diana Crum and Dancers, is currently an M.F.A. candidate at Hollins University/A.D.F. Her work has been presented at DNA (Dance New Amsterdam), Dixon Place, Joe’s Pub, and Barnard College, among others. She holds a B.A. in Dance from Columbia University. www.dianacrumanddancers.org

He is an active collaborator across many media, and a founding member of the iconoclastic group Peeesseye, whose work has been manifested in 135 concerts around the globe and documented on 6 CDs since their formation in 2002.
